Claire O’Kane is the coordinator for the CATS younger children’s workshop programme for 2-5 year olds and 6-10 year olds. She works as a freelance child rights consultant, especially for children’s rights to participate encouraging creative and active participation of all J Claire is originally from Wales, UK. However, she has spent many years living and working in Asia and Africa, and she now lives in France. She speaks English and conversational French, Hindi and Urdu.
Annie Bourdin is the main facilitator for the younger children’s programme for children aged 2-5 years. She has worked as a Kindergarten teacher for few years, and she also works work with children aged 7 to 10 years old. She is responsible for 120 children in her parish. She has been coming to Caux for a long time, especially to look and help with the children. Annie speaks French and English.
Ramona Roscais the main facilitator for the younger chlidren’s programme for children aged 6-10 years. She has worked as a kindergarten teacher in Romania, as animator in Cyprus and social pedagogue for Intermedes Robinson Association in France. Ramona has taken part in various volunteer activities, and she speaks Romanian, English and French. One of the quotes that she appreciate very much is: ‘’Spread Love everywhere you go. C-J Foster is a resource person for the younger children’s workshop programme for 2-5 year olds and 6-10 year olds. C-J is an Australian Music and Drama teacher now living in the UK. She has taught over the last 18 years in mainstream & special education. She has a particular passion for leadership development through the arts. C-J has also volunteered with Initiatives of Change for the same length of time. She speaks very average conversational French & will be organised by her three kids at Caux this summer!
Dany Cohen is one of the children’s workshop facilitators for children aged 6-10 years. She has worked in an innovative school “La Source” in France for over 35 years where children and young people are encouraged to express their views and to participate in decisions. Dany was born in Egypt, grew up in France and has travelled in Canada. She speaks French and English.
Anna Alokhina is one of the children’s workshop facilitators for children aged 6-10 years. She is interested in communication, peace and ecology. She works freelance as an educator, coordinator, mediator and prefers non-formal and creative approaches. Anna is from Ukraine. She speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English, French and conversational Spanish.
Arthur Pons is one of the children’s workshop facilitators for children aged 6-10 years. He studied international law and he is currently working for the “Education for Peace” program in Initiatives of Change France. Arthur is from France but has lived in India and Bangladesh for some months. He speaks French and English
Joelle Rechdan is one of the children’s workshop facilitators for the 2-5 year olds. She has worked at SABIS International School for eight years; teaching English and other subjects in the KG Department. Her main field of study is International Relations/Political science and Criminal Justice. Joelle also has a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Cambridge University. Joelle was born in Lebanon, grew up in the United States, she now lives in Lebanon and works as an educator. Joelle speaks Arabic, English and some French.
Jeanne-Marie Krebs is volunteering in the Caux Kindergarten during the summer of 2014. She will be supporting the programme with the 2-5 year olds. She will start a training in September to become an educator. Jeanne-Marie was born in France and lives in France. She speaks French and a little bit of English.
